That
isn't to say you can't make money using private label rights and
public domain texts as the basis for your blogging posts,in fact
both sources can help you make a very good money from blogging.
The secret is to use public domain and private label rights texts as
research material for your blog posts and to spend time rewording
private label and public domain texts into your own unique style.
Let me give you another eight easy ways to use blogs to help you
create your next book:
* Get yourself known online, especially among people who may
contribute to your book or who may ultimately become buyers and
resellers. Studying other people's blogs in your specialist subject
is one of the very best ways to find research material and
information for your book. Look for blogs with high readership
levels and begin contributing to those that best match the proposed
subject for your new book. Read what people are saying about your
specialist subject, offer advice and present yourself as an expert,
tell people you are writing a book about the subject of the blog
they have visited and ask them to contribute in exchange for a free
mention in your book.
* Locate blogs with hundreds of different and very information
articles about the subject of your new book. Notice how often the
blog is updated, read comments left by other visitors especially
those offering compliments and praising remarking favourably on
content at the blog. Study information and expert comments left by
other blog visitors and compile this information into a research
folder for your new book but remember always to rewrite the text as
well as to research it for accuracy.
* Look at what other people are writing about in blogs targeting the
subject of your proposed new blog. If you find a useful article or
comments that might add value to your book, write and ask the blog
owner for permission to use their article in your book. Offer a free
mention in your book that will drive traffic back to the blogger's
site.
* Study comments, especially problems experienced by visitors to
blogs tackling your specialist subject. Also study advice given by
the blog owner and other visitors. Problems encountered by a high
proportion of blog visitors, especially problems for which you can
provide solutions, can suggest excellent subjects for your book.
Answers and solutions provided by the blogger and visitors can be
verified and used as research material for you book as long as you
do not plagiarise or otherwise breach copyright laws.
* Study recommended products in blogs relating to the subject of
your proposed book. Study them over time and you'll see some
recommendations being removed and new ones added, while others
remain in place over many months. Recommended products removed from
the blog are a sign of products you should avoid, while long
standing and newly introduced product recommendations might suggest
useful products for you to list in your book to encourage back end
sales.
* Study bloggers having their own books listed at ClickBank and
Amazon, PayDotCom and similar book sites and locate those having the
highest number of sales. Check out why their books sell in higher
quantities than others on the same or similar subject. Check out
sample chapters, chapter lists, and so on and model your new book on
the best of other writers' efforts, again without breaching
copyright laws.
* Start your own blog focussing on the subject of your proposed new
book and add postings and short articles on various subjects chosen
for your book. Notice which postings attract the most comments from
visitors and which receive very few. Translate your findings into
chapters for your new book, by including subjects that attracted
lots of comments and questions, and exclude those that attracted few
or no clicks at your blog.
* Run a poll or survey at your blog which allows you to grow data
specific to the subject of your new book. So if, for example, you
want to write about dogs or blogs but you're not sure what aspect of
either subject to focus upon, you could ask your readers to identify
their ten most important questions about dogs, or to choose their
favourite from a long list of dog breeds, you could ask people to
reveal their most challenging worry about creating their own blogs,
and so on. This serves two purposes, not only helping you identify
high interest subjects but also letting you create content specific
to questions and problems experienced by your blogs' readers and
ultimately to target your book towards your own ready made buyers'
list.
